Our Story

To the naked eye, Diverse Anecdote means a variety of services to communicate your story, but within the words are the hidden meaning of my story.  My business is named after my late mother, Diane (aka "Di"), and my husband's late mother, Dorothy (aka "Dot"), who were longtime best friends.

Although they passed away at a young age from Lupus and Cancer, respectively, they both radiated positivity and enthusiasm despite their health challenges. Together, they valued authentic relationships, which ultimately fostered my career path and sets me apart from most. 

I have invested the last three decades in the marketing, communications, and development profession across several industries. My experience covers a wide range of proficiency, including marketing, public and media relations, branding and graphic design, communications, social media, plan development, fundraising and cultivation, database management, leadership, and community involvement. 

I am passionate about graphic design, logo development, writing and editing, obtaining new knowledge to disseminate to diverse audiences, and making your business look and sound professional. As a Notary Public, I am honored to be part of meaningful love stories.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my adult kids and grandchildren, completing home renovation projects, crocheting, making personalized gift baskets, traveling, and paying it forward through service. 

I was fortunate enough to get involved in Rotary over 25 years ago. Rotary taught me about giving back to my community, and I continue to be a proud Rotarian of the Biddeford Saco Rotary Club (Past President). I have also served on the Boards of BNI Rising Tide (Secretary), United Way of Southern Maine (Governance Chair), Ocean Communities Federal Credit Union (Vice Chair), Northeast Credit Union (Marketing Chair), and numerous other nonprofit boards.
